Surprise surprise, I packed too much. So when I got to Antigua, I looked into sending some things home. I got a box at the supermarket and chucked in the things I reckoned I definitely could live without for the next 8 months. DHL quoted me 1750Q to send it to the UK. The post office quoted 900Q. Neither price seemed quite worth it so after a few hours, I decided that money was better spent elsewhere. So the box and its contents went in the bin. Just before I left the hostel on the shuttle to Semuc this morning so I didn’t have a chance to change my mind. Any bets on how soon I’ll have amassed the exact same quantity of other stuff though?
